A&E fires up ‘Kings Of BBQ’ with ‘Black-ish’ actor Anthony Anderson & Cedric The Entertainer

A&E is prepping more barbecue programming, this time tracking Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer as they tour the US.

Kings Of BBQ is from US-based Propagate in association with A Bird And A Bear Entertainment and Just a Kid From Compton.

It tracks Anderson and Cedric as they embark on a journey across the US to learn all they can about techniques and traditions while also working to launch their own brand of products.

The one-hour show debuts Saturday, 12 August 12th at 21.00 ET/PT, and includes interviews with leading barbeque chefs, pitmasters and “everyday experts” who share their knowledge and secrets of the trade.

Executive producers for Propagate are Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Linh Le, and Rebecca Graham Forde, with Cedric The Entertainer and Eric C. Rhone onboard for A Bird And A Bear Entertainment. Executive producers for Just a Kid From Compton are Anthony Anderson and Brian Dobbins. Elaine Frontain Bryant and Brad Holcman serve as executive producers for A&E Network.
