Cineflix Rights & Pluto TV roll ‘American Pickers’ out as first single-brand FAST channel in Canada

Cineflix Rights is launching its first-ever single-brand FAST channel in Canada, with an American Pickers network being rolled out on Paramount’s Pluto TV.

The FAST service will carry over 200 episodes of the reality-TV stalwart, which follows series creator and professional treasure hunter Mike Wolfe and his crew as they crisscross the US in a quest for rusty gold and to recycle America.

Cineflix Rights sibling, Cineflix Productions, is in production on the 12th season of the show for History in the US.

The roll-out is part of Cineflix’s initial launch of genre-themed FAST channels, which were unveiled in May. Channels will include Real Disaster Channel, Crime & Justice, and Property & Reno.

“FAST channels have exploded, allowing us to both introduce and re-acquaint viewers with must-watch programming that appeals to their affinities,” said Mike Gould, the former All3Media International exec who joined Cineflix Rights last year as SVP of digital to run its FAST operations.

Cineflix Rights currently operates four FAST brands across three territories with distribution to more top-tier FAST platforms planned for later this year.
