WBD & Liberty Global reportedly eyeing $1.26bn All3Media sale
All3Media, the UK production giant behind titles such as The Traitors and Three Identical Strangers, is reportedly going on sale for around £1bn ($1.26bn).
Joint owners Warner Bros. Disovery (WBD) and Liberty Global, who each have a 50% stake in the company are looking at a range of options, including selling their stakes to a third party or buying out the other’s half of the business, according to UK publication The Daily Telegraph.
All3Media is Britain’s biggest independent TV producer and is home to more than 50 production companies, including Studio Lambert, which produces The Traitors, and Raw TV, which was behind the documentaries Three Identical Strangers and The Tinder Swindler.
The company’s footprint extends across the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, New Zealand and the UK, from where it generates around 35% of its revenue. Its distribution business, All3Media International, boasts a catalogue of more than 30,000 hours of content, including the Gogglebox and The Traitors formats.
The company is led by CEO Jane Turton, and reported its biggest ever year in 2021, posting £866.6m in revenue. It was acquired by Discovery and Liberty Global in 2014 in a deal valued at around $930m, with Discovery having since merged into WBD.
Warner Bros. Discovery and Liberty Global declined to comment on the report. TBI has also reached out to All3Media for comment.
