A+E’s Crime+Investigation Play to roll out UK DTC service
A+E Networks EMEA will next month roll out its existing Crime+Investigation Play channel as a new UK direct-to-consumer streaming service dedicated to true crime content.
Debuting in 2019, Crime+Investigation Play is currently available via Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV Channels in the UK, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. The new launch on 5 September, via a dedicated app, will offer more than 1,000 hours of true crime content to UK audiences.
Local originals available on the service include Rob Rinder’s Interrogation Secrets and Murdertown 4, franchises such as Meet, Marry, Murder, The Jail: 60 Days In, Killer Britain With Dermot Murnaghan, Homicide Hunter and The First 48, and docuseries such as Surviving R. Kelly, Secrets Of Playboy and Surviving Jeffrey Epstein.
