ITV in the UK has ordered a one-off documentary that promises exclusive access to The Duchess of Cornwall in her role as Guest Editor of Country Life magazine to mark her 75th birthday.

Camilla’s Country Life is a 1 x 60-minute show from UK-based Spun Gold TV, with director Michael Waldman (Inside The Foreign Office) attached.

The doc accompanies The Duchess of Cornwall as she plans and oversees a special edition of magazine Country Life during the magazine’s 125th anniversary year, alongside performing her regular royal duties.

Jo Clinton-Davis, ITV controller of factual, said the film would “present a unique opportunity to gain an insight into The Duchess of Cornwall, at close quarters, immersed within her personal passions and engaged with some of those closest to her.”

All3Media International has worldwide distribution rights.
