Hallmark Channel in the US has partnered with Canada’s CTV Drama Channel to greenlight a drama from Endeavor Content-backed Blink49 Studios and Family Law prodco Seven24 Films.

Ride is based on a script by husband and wife writing team Rebecca Boss & Chris Masi (Our Kind of People), who are showrunners and executive producers with Sherri Cooper-Landsman (Brothers & Sisters).

The multigenerational family series follows the lives of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery.

“This deal reflects our commitment to invest in premium content with a creative-first and audience-first approach, working with some of the best talent in our industry,” said Blink49’s CEO John Morayniss, who founded the company in 2021 three years after leaving Entertainment One’s TV business.

Blink49 Studios will handle international distribution.
