The TellyCast Content Funding Festival is preparing to open its doors tomorrow, with Phil McKenzie from Goldfinch and Bhav Chandrani from ITV among recently confirmed panelists for the London-based event.
From the organisers of popular TV podcast Tellycast, the event aims to shed light on new funding opportunities across areas including brand funded content, NFTs, next gen co-production and non-traditional media investment.
McKenzie and Chandrani will join the likes of Barcroft Studios founder Sam Barcroft, digital entrepreneur Umair Masoom, Richard Tulk-Hart of Buccaneer Media, Gerrit Kemming of Quintus Studios and Lilla Hurst of Drive as they explore new ways to get shows off the ground.
The day-long event, which takes place at Lincoln’s Inn in London, will revolve around four distinctly-themed panels and a series of networking opportunities. After a presentation from K7 Media, the morning panels will explore Brand Funded Programming and New Financial Models.
Attention will then turn to the fast-moving world of NFTs in a panel entitled NFT & Blockchain – Opportunities and Pitfalls, with the final panel exploring developments in co-pro and chaired by Amanda Groom of The Bridge.
