Portuguese drama event ONSeries Lisbon has unveiled details of its upcoming event in Lisbon with sessions including an exploration of Brazilian streamer Globoplay, which launched in Europe last month.

ONSeries Lisboa is backed by the Portuguese government and will take place 25 and 26 November, with sessions exploring the launch of the Brazilian giant’s streamer and a deep-dive with execs into its original production strategy.

Ricardo Pereira, director of Globo Portugal, said: “Globoplay is the largest producer of series in Portuguese so we’re taking the opportunity to be present at this event to showcase some of our latest productions.”

The event will also hear from audiovisual consultancy GECA, which will reveal its latest study on narrative trends in fiction worldwide, while there will also be sessions around co-productions, tax incentives and local production potential.

The Portuguese showcase is designed and produced by Inside Content, which is behind Spain’s Conecta Fiction.
