BossaNova hires NENT Studios exec for acquisitions & co-pros

UK-based funding and distribution company BossaNova has appointed former NENT Studios exec Olivia Morgan to the newly created role of acquisitions and co-production executive.

Morgan will lead on the curation and development of BossaNova’s growing slate of collaborative projects, whilst working closely with the sales team on pitches and pre-sales.

She reports to BossaNova founder and CEO Paul Heaney, working alongside senior sales manager Tatjana Kostovski, who joined the company in July as revealed by TBI.

Heaney said: “A distributor needs to have two equal streams with sales and acquisitions and we have the opportunity to make this work really effectively as we transition from start-up to fully-fledged distributor.”

BossaNova launched in October and has four new titles headlining its slate ahead of MIPCOM. Black Panthers Of WW2, The Ripper Speaks, Accused Of Murdering Our Son; and Decades That Defined Us.
