Banijay taps Zeppelin exec to lead new Iberian creative agency

Agus Cantero

Banijay has diversified its Iberian operations by rolling out a new creative agency to be led a Zeppelin exec, just days after unveiling a talent division in France.

The label, IMA, will be part of Banijay Iberia and is being led by Agus Cantero.

It will offer “boutique creative solutions and services” to help promote shows being produced by Banijay Iberia.

Cantero was previously involved in the creation of Spanish channel Cuatro and was most recently image director of Banijay-owned Zeppelin, overseeing promo content for shows including FAMA A Bailar (Floor Filler) and El Puente (The Bridge).

Pilar Blasco, who became CEO of Banijay Iberia last year, said: “This new initiative led by Agus Cantero, an expert with a long and proven professional career, allows us to further utilise our experience and talent.”

Banijay last week launched France-based Banijay Talent, in an attempt to tap into the relationship between influencers and TV shows.
