Rlaxx TV & MTN snag Fuse shows for Europe, Africa

AVOD operator Rlaxx TV and South African telco MTN have struck deals with Latino-owned producer Fuse Media.

The deal will see Rlaxx TV will carry Fuse Backstage, the music-focused, free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) brand that features live talent on stage as well as news, docs, reality shows, films and specials.

It will launch in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK, via numerous services including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV. Expansions into France, Spain and Portugal are planned by the summer.

MTN, meanwhile, is licensing 100 hours of Fuse Media content including T-Pain School Of Business, The 212 and Big Freedia Queen Of Bounce as part of its AVOD service launch. The deal has been struck via Pangea.
