HBO Max expands reality dating with ‘FBoy Island’

HBO Max has ordered a 10-part reality dating series hosted by comedian and actress Nikki Glaser.

FBoy Island was created by Elan Gale (The Bachelor) and has Sam Dean (Love Is Blind) attached as showrunner.

The show is being produced by US-based STXalternative and filmed earlier this year in the Cayman Islands, with a summer debut slated on HBO Max.

The series follows three women who move to a tropical island where they are joined by 24 men. Of these, 12 are self-proclaimed ‘nice guys’ looking for love, while another 12 are self-proclaimed ‘FBoys’ competing for the cash prize.

The women will navigate the dating pool together with the hope of finding a lasting love connection.

|This is an incredibly entertaining dating show full of twists and turns that will leave the audience constantly guessing,” said Jennifer O’Connell, EVP of non-fiction & live-action family at HBO Max.
