BeIN Media, SPT strike far-reaching movies & series deal in MENA & Turkey

Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood

MENA-focused operator beIN Media has struck a multi-year content deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) that will hand it exclusive first and second window rights to movies and series.

The agreement, which covers MENA and Turkey, will see Sony Pictures Entertainment-owned TV series such as Community and Justified become available to subscribers, along with movies including Spider-Man: No Way Home and Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.

Mark Young, EVP of networks & distribution at SPT EMEA, said: “As our industry continues to navigate a challenging and dynamic period, this important relationship is a great way to connect our audiences with both recent Sony Pictures Entertainment hits and titles from our extensive Sony Pictures library.”

Content will be available to subscribers who have access to the beIN MOVIES and beIN SERIES channels.
