NATPE names new board members, incl HBO Max content chief Sarah Aubrey

The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) has added a raft of execs to its board, including HBO Max’s head of original content Sarah Aubrey.

She is joined by ViacomCBS distribution president Dan Cohen; Nielsen’s chief growth office & president of international Sean Cohan; and Laura Kennedy, CEO of production group Avalon.

The new appointees will serve a term of three years and join more than 40 other members of the NATPE board from across the content business.

Andy Kaplan, NATPE chairman of the board, said: “The addition of these four executives to our strong, diverse and experienced board embraces our objective through the next three years to continue to reflect the industry’s content and distribution while actively increasing the diversity of our membership.”

NATPE is currently prepping four-day physical and virtual event NATPE International Budapest, which is slated for 30 August – 2 September.
