Russian animation house Riki Group has announced a slew of global sales for several of its shows, following the digital MIPTV last week.

Toonz Media Networks has acquired AVOD rights for Kikoriki and Pincode from the St Petersburg-based company, with the shows headed to the MyToonz platform in India, Africa, LatAm, USA and Spain.

“I am sure that our young audience across the world will love watching these shows. And I hope that this is only the beginning of a long partnership with Riki for content licensing and syndication,” commented P. Jayakumar  CEO of Toonz Media Group.

Meanwhile, Common Sense Network’s new app Sensical, which is set to be launched in Q2 2021, has picked up Kikoriki, BabyRiki and edutainment spin-off Pincode for the USA and Canada.

“Safety and reliability are core values of all Riki Group brands,” said Mark Zavadskiy, CEO of Riki Group. “We believe that Common Sense Seal of safety is an important recognition that our content corresponds to high safety standards of the international market.”

Smile TV, covering Greece and Cyprus, has also licensed exclusive TV rights for Pincode and non-exclusive for Panda and Krash.

Deagostini also secured exclusive premiere rights in Italy for Tina & Tony, while plans to develop the project non-exclusively in the territories of Italian-speaking Switzerland, Malta, Montecarlo, San Marino and Vatican State.
