Twenty Twenty hires Blast! Films exec as creative chief, reveals HQ move

UK producer Twenty Twenty has hired former Blast! Films exec James O’Reilly as creative director at the Warner Bros.-owned company, which is planning to move to Bristol next year.

O’Reilly will start in the spring and joins having held the same role at Blast! Films, which has been behind shows including The Secret Life Of The Zoo and Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain.

He will report into Twenty Twenty and Wall To Wall MD Leanne Klein, with a remit that includes overseeing the creation and production on new and existing shows.

Twenty Twenty, which sits within the Warner Bros. International Television Production division, has been behind a raft of shows including The Choir and First Dates, the latter of which has sold into almost 20 countries as a format.
