SérieSeries unveils on-demand service with writers, showrunners & commissioners

European drama event SérieSeries has launched a new on-demand platform providing access to interviews with show creators and case studies.

SérieSeries.TV will feature more than 50 hours of content produced by the event organisers, including discussions, masterclasses and interviews with talent.

The service will update throughout the year and currently offers ‘Conversations’ with writers including Years And Years scribe Russel T Davies, The End Of The F***ing World’s Charlie Covell, Line Of Duty’s Jed Mercurio and numerous others.

Exclusive episodes of the Scriptnotes podcast will also feature, along with case studies of shows including The Hunt For A Killer from Sweden and BBC hit Normal People.

Interviews from commissioners across Europe will also be available and 10 projects seeking partners and funding will be featured, with creators presenting. The ‘Créatures Inside’ strand is also available, offering insights from writers, director and composers about their experiences of working through lockdown.

The launch follows the conference’s move online following the Covid-19 pandemic. It had been due to again be held in Fontainebleau, a former royal residence south of the French capital, Paris, between 30 June and 2 July, but instead has run as a virtual event.
