NEM Dubrovnik postponed & combined with Zagreb event

NEM Dubrovnik has become the latest event to be postponed following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The eighth edition of the annual market and conference, which was set to take place in the Croatian city in June, will now instead be rolled into the recently launched NEM Zagreb this winter.

NEM Dubrovnik Meets Zagreb will take place in Zagreb from 9-11 December and aims to bring together execs from broadcasters, streamers and telcos with actors, producers, directors, screenwriters and others involved in the audio-visual industry.

The combined event will include panel discussions and presentations by execs, as well as presentations of new projects and screenings. Workshops will also take place, offering insights into creative and legal aspects of the business, along with the TV Writing Contest.

Sanja Božić Ljubičić, owner of TV firm Mediavision – which also organises the NEM events – said: “The current uncertain situation on the global level has prevented the organisation of the event planned for June in Dubrovnik as the traditional venue. We have made this decision in the hope that the situation in the world will stabilise by December.”
