Beyond Distribution adds Disney exec for Europe, Scandinavia, Iberia

Beyond Distribution has appointed Anne-Marie Pardoe as its new senior VP of sales for German-speaking Europe, Scandinavia and Iberia.

Pardoe, who takes up the role following the departure of Sam Partner last month, joins from Disney Media Distribution where she was most recently sales manager for the UK and Ireland. Partner’s next move is not yet known.

Prior to Disney, Pardoe worked as sales manager at Channel 4 Distribution and was head of sales at Zodiak Rights, formerly known as RDF Television.

Her appointment is immediate and she will report to Beyond’s head of sales Munia Kanna-Konsek, who said Pardoe would bring “a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will help us to further strengthen our client-base with key buyers in German-speaking Europe, Scandinavia and Iberia.”

Pardoe added: “I’ve known many of the team for many years and always admired their catalogue and approach to sales. I’m also looking forward to meeting clients new and old at MIPCOM to talk about our exciting slate of new shows.”

Australia-based Beyond, which also has offices in the UK and Ireland, is behind shows including factual entertainment show Love It Or List It and Chasing Monsters, as well as Heavy Rescue 401 and kids show Beat Bugs, which was acquired by Netflix.
