20th Century Fox TV drama exec Chloe Dan to exit studio

20th Century Fox Television exec Chloe Dan is exiting the studio.

The SVP of drama development is leaving after six years with 20CF, with the last two in her current role. She was promoted from VP of drama development in 2017.

Dan’s credits include This Is Us (pictured) and The Resident, as well as the upcoming Filthy Rich and neXt.

She has also helped in developing The Passage, Proven Innocent, The Gifted, Pitch, Minority Report and 24 Legacy.

Prior to 20CF, she was a VP of production at Dreamworks, and before that, held assistant roles at Warner Bros. Studios and Walt Disney Studios.

Dan’s exit is the latest in a number of exec rejigs following the Disney-Fox merger.

Last week, Disney replaced the president of its ABC Studios operation and revamped the senior team at 20th Century Television.

ABC Studios president Patrick Moran and the division’s exec VP of business operations Howard Davine are both stepping down, with former 20th Century TV execs Jonnie Davis and Josh Sussman taking the respective roles.

Carolyn Cassidy, who had been exec VP of current series at 20th Century Fox TV since 2015, has been promoted to replace Davis and become president of creative affairs, working alongside president of business operations Howard Kurtzman.

Dan said: “I’m grateful to everyone at TCFTV for allowing me the opportunity to grow and lead the drama team. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished and while I loved the home here at TCFTV, I’m excited to tackle new challenges. I’ve learned so much from Dana, Jonnie, Terence and really everyone at this company and I’m really looking forward to the next chapter of my career.”
