Endemol Shine Group has appointed a media strategist as its head of digital distribution and monetisation.
The business has hired Kasia Jablonska to spearhead its digital distribution activities, reporting into group director of commercial operations Yannick Ferrero.
Jablonska, who founded media strategy consultancy firm MK&K Consultants last year, will be responsible for building the sales strategy around VOD, AVOD, SVOD, PPV and electronic sell-through businesses, maximising the value of Endemol Shine’s content across these areas.
Jablonska, who is to join next month, will also lead the business’s digital distribution strategy globally and in local markets.
Prior to forming MK&K, she held senior commercial and affiliate sales roles at Scripps Networks, A+E Networks and NBCUniversal.
Endemol Shine Group’s digital content garners around 3bn monthly views across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The team works closely with Endemol Shine International to leverage the producer-distributor’s extensive back catalogue of 100,000 hours.
The digital team recently launched a number of successful genre-based channels such as Reel Truth, which features factual documentaries and series from around the world.
