Studiocanal UK appoints Anna Marsh as MD

Studiocanal UK has appointed Anna Marsh as managing director from Studiocanal’s international distribution division.

Marsh, who was formerly executive VP of international distribution, will take on her new London-based position on 1 March.

In this new capacity, Marsh will report to Nicola Shindler who was appointed CEO of Studiocanal UK in September 2018.

Marsh will continue to run Studiocanal’s international sales from London and for this activity, she will report to Studiocanal CEO Didier Lupfer.

The exec has near 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She first joined Studiocanal in 2008 as VP of international sales.

Studiocanal chairman Maxime Saada said: “I am delighted to have Anna Marsh joining our UK company as Managing Director. In Nicola Shindler and Anna Marsh we have a formidable executive team allowing us to continue and strengthen our commitment to our UK operations, which are core to STUDIOCANAL’s business as a leading European studio.” 

Lupfer added: “Anna has been invaluable in both selling our films – which she will continue to do under her new responsibility – and masterminding their worldwide distribution. Her experience will be a great asset to further develop production and distribution in the key UK market.”
