Cineflix hires ITV Studios alum to head up acquisitions
Cineflix Rights has hired former ITV Studios GE exec Richard Life to head up acquisitions.
In the newly created role, Life will spearhead acquisitions as the company executes its strategy of increasing content streams through producer partnerships, development and first-look deals, and co-productions.
Based in London, he will oversee the global acquisitions team which comprises of Kate Laffey, VP, acquisitions; Catherine McCormick, manager, acquisitions; and Giuliana Benvenuto, manager, acquisitions, North America.
Life will report to Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media.
Life was previously head of acquisitions and co-productions at ITV Studios Global Entertainment and head of programming at Channel 4 International.
Bonney said: “Richard brings a wealth of commercial and creative experience to the company. Building up our international acquisitions team will position us for further growth in our unscripted and scripted portfolios.”
