Gusto Worldwide Media has sold five cooking and food series to Red Media, a Russian pay-TV broadcaster.
The package includes 83 half-hour episodes that will air on Red Media’s Kitchen TV, and over 200 short form videos.
Titles include Watts on the Grill (13×30), Fresh Market Dinners (10×30), Fish the Dish (30×30), The Urban Vegetarian (15×30) and Bonacini’s Italy (15×30).
It is a new territory for all of the titles, which will be available to viewers in Russia, CIS, and the Baltic States.
“More buyers are looking for short form food content and it’s reflected in this sale,” said Corey Caplan (pictured), senior director of international sales at Gusto Worldwide Media. “Gusto is going global. Australia…Philippines….and now Russia!”
