TRX adds TCB Media Rights to its digitized sales platform

TCB Media Rights is the latest distributor to sign up to the online sales platform TRX, which enables buyers and sellers to make TV distribution deals through a digital service.

TCB will add 1,400 TV hours to the platform, which will go live shortly after MIPCOM. Titles include Border Patrol (pictured), Copy Cat Killers and Abandoned Engineering.

Distributors on the service include BBC Studios, Lionsgate, Sky Vision, All3Media, and Off the Fence.

TCB CEO Paul Heaney said: “We’ve been fans of TRX since the very start but we’re now better resourced as a business to be able to take advantage of its benefits to us. My colleagues are all very keen to get started and we expect TRX to deliver big time.”

Matthew Frank, CEO of TRX, added: “TCB have been on our target list of distributors to get on the TRX for some time now. They have been fantastically successful in growing a quality catalogue over the last few years and I’m very excited that they will now be offering buyers a big chunk of their content through TRX.”

TRX has secured $15m worth of funding from investors including Sky Ventures, the Channel 4 Growth Fund and Edge Investments.
