Boat Rocker taps eOne exec for legal affairs

Boat Rocker Media has appointed eOne’s Dina Appleton as executive VP of business and legal affairs.

In her new role, Appleton will lead Boat Rocker’s business and legal affairs team and oversee this element of the business throughout the production and distribution divisions of the company.

Appleton will report to Boat Rocker Media’s chief operating officer Samantha Traub.

At eOne, Appleton served as senior VP of business and legal affairs based in its Toronto office. She has also served as special counsel in the entertainment, media and communications practice group at Richter and Hampton where she represented clients such as Disney, Focus and Sony.

Appleton is also the co-author of Hollywood Dealmaking: Negotiating Talent Agreements.
