Planet Nemo secures new deals for Czech animated feature


Planet Nemo has secured several new agreements for the children’s CGI/3D animated feature Harvie & the Magic Museum. Sales of the 85-minute film have been secured in Latin America (Delta), Germany (Peppermint), Israel (Five Stars), the Middle East (FrontRow), Romania (Freealize) and Ukraine (Kinofilm). This follows on from previous deals in markets such as China, South Korea and Turkey.

Harvie and the Magic Museum premiered in English at the Berlin European Film Market earlier this year having already been released in the domestic Czech market in August 2017. Produced by Rolling Pictures (Czech Republic), it features Harvie and his father, Mr. Spejbl, who works as the director of the city’s Puppet Museum. When the Mayor orders the museum to be torn down, Harvie, his dog Jerry and school mate Monica are go on an adventure where they learn the mystery of the Museum, and also the key to its rescue.

Harvie has already been a smash hit in its domestic market and the franchise continues to build momentum following its successful debut in English at Berlin EFM and at the recent Cannes Film Festival.”
