MarVista Entertainment has hired Playster’s content acquisitions executive Michol Hatwan as its new director of distribution, as it expands its business across distribution and marketing.
Hatwan will be responsible for sales in the US and Canada and report to Jody CiPriano, head of global distribution at MarVista.
At Playster, the all-in-one entertainment subscription service, Hatwan managed multi-territory film, television, music and digital publishing acquisitions.
MarVista has also hired Stephanie Dillard as marketing director, where she will oversee campaigns for the company’s programming across domestic, international and emerging platforms.
Further, MarVista’s SVP of operations, Candace Johnston, will now also spearhead a newly-launched revenue operations team.
