Blue Ant looks to Lat Am with sales hires

Blue Ant Media has made a host of sales appointments to its expanding Global Networks division in Latina America.

Leading the new team will be Julio Sobral (pictured) who will becomes general manager for Kids & Global Networks in LatAm and US-Hispanic regions.

Sobral will oversee the channel distribution and operations of Blue Ant Media’s suite of channels across linear and streaming platforms all over the US-Hispanic, LatAm and Brazil markets and will report to Ward Platt, CEO of Kids & Global Networks at the company.

Sobral arrives at Blue Ant Media from Fox Network Groups Europe and US where he served as senior vice president of business operations.

Reporting to Sobral, the new group will include Loreto Gaete, covering Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico; Sebastian Galia, overseeing sales in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay and Fernando Gualda who will be responsible for affiliate sales and distribution in the region. Starrett Berry will be covering the Caribbean and US Hispanic region.

The team will focus on distributing Love Nature, ZooMoo and Arcade Cloud.
