Delightful Media, a media company focused on food and drink, has appointed ex-Channel 4 commissioner Robert Marsh as managing director.
Joining founder and creative director Jonathan Almond, the duo will work together to create food and drink content for brands as well as build a network of focused content channels that deliver premium quality social video.
During his career, Marsh has worked with brands, broadcasters, producers, publishers and talent on digital content strategy, social content production and distribution.
Marsh’s previous positions include new media commissioner at Channel 4, where he oversaw the extension of high-profile formats into the digital space, before moving to FremantleMedia to run their UK digital business.
He later set up digital and branded entertainment company Zodiak Active, which partnered with YouTube to develop channels for their original content initiative.
Almond said: “Robert has been a passionate supporter of Delightful Media since the start and I’m thrilled that he’s joining me to take the business to the next level. As a fellow food and drink lover I’m excited to see what we’ll cook up together.”
