Armoza’s Final Four lands Russia deal post-Fox
Russian broadcaster CTC has commissioned a first season of Armoza Formats’ primetime singing competition, The Final Four, which is already set for Fox in the US.
The local adaptation will air towards the end of the year and contains eight episodes.
Fox has recently picked up the show for a US edition. It picked up the show despite cancelling another singing competition series, American Idol, just one year earlier.
Since its launch at MIPTV, it has picked up deals in a range of territories such a France, Spain, Italy, Norway and Denmark.
The 13×90-120mins show has three music judges pick four talented artists that then have to work to keep their spot as other contestants join the show.
Anyone can become a contestant at any time via submissions to the show’s dedicated app.
