Twenty Twenty CEO to join ITV Studios’ Shiver
Tim Carter, Twenty Twenty’s current CEO, is set to join ITV Studios’ factual label Shiver as managing director.
He will lead the label with offices in London, Manchester and Leeds, and oversee approximately 300 hours of production a year. Carter will work on shows such as Come Dine With Me, Peston on Sunday and The Martin Lewis Money Show.
Carter will join Shiver next year once a successor has taken over his role at Warner Bros.-owned Twenty Twenty. He directly oversees much of Twenty Twenty’s output, including Channel 4’s First Dates and The Choir franchise for the BBC.
Twenty Twenty has also created programming including World’s Strictest Parents, The Hoarder Next Door and Garrow’s Law.
Julian Bellamy (pictured), managing director at ITV Studios said: “I couldn’t be more delighted that Tim will be joining Shiver – he’s doing a brilliant job at Twenty Twenty, is a fantastically talented creative and business leader and I can’t wait to start working with him.”
Carter said: “Over the past few years, ITV Studios has set the pace for dynamic and creative growth and I’m looking forward to being part of this success story.
“Shiver has scale and creativity, a powerful combination and the foundations to continue to grow. I’ve had a great time at Twenty Twenty, and remain committed to the company until I assume my post at Shiver.”
Last year, ITV also poached Twenty Twenty’s producer, Nicola Lloyd.
