Fremantle ups scripted buyer
FremantleMedia International (FMI) has promoted Rebecca Dundon to director of scripted acquisitions, and hired an exec from ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE).
Dundon takes on the new role after joining FremantleMedia’s sales arm as senior acquisitions manager in 2015. She previously worked at Shine International (now part of Endemol Shine International).
Anthony Patton is joining as content acquisitions executive, having been a scripted acquisitions coordinator at ITVSGE. He will report to Dundon.
The news comes after it emerged in February that FMI executive VP of global scripted and factual content Georgia Brown had been hired as Amazon Studios’ first director of original television for Europe.
