TVFI re-elects president

French distributors body TV France International (TVFI) has re-elected current president Hervé Michel.

Herve MichelThis hands Michel (pictured) a second, two-year term as head of the association, which promotes French distribution both locally and internationally.

The exec, who co-founded the international sales arm of France Télévisions, was first elected in November 2015, when he replaced Laetitia Recayte.

The vote took place at TVFI’s AGM on Friday (June 9), with its current board structure also renewed.

The board now comprises Jérôme Alby from Mediatoon Distribution, Christophe Bochnacki (Balanga), Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet (Lagardère Studios Distribution), Roch Bozino (Java Films), Sabine Chemaly (TF1 Studio), Marie Congé (GO-N International), Sandrine Frantz (Lukarn), Céline Payot Lehmann (Arte France)

Emmanuelle Jouanole (Terranoa), Caroline Mougey (M6 Group), Christophe Nobileau (Newen Distribution), Chloé Persyn-Preljocaj (ZED), Cécilia Rossignol (Gaumont) and Julia Schulte (France TV Distribution).

Bouilhaget, Jouanole and Mougey make up an executive committee as VPs, with Nobileau treasurer.
