Sparacio confirmed as eOne finance chief
Joe Sparacio has been named the CFO of Entertainment One.
He has been filling the finance role on an interim basis at the independent film and TV studio since last November and now takes the position on a full-time basis.
Sparacio has several decades of experience in the media sector, largely on the film side having been CFO of Imax and also been at Loews Cineplex Entertainment.
He replaces Giles Willits, who left eOne late last year.
“Since his appointment as interim CFO, Joe has brought great insight and expertise to eOne,” said eOne CEO Darren Throop. “We look forward to benefitting from his wide-ranging experience and understanding of the sector to continue to deliver value for our shareholders.”
ITV failed in an attempt to acquire eOne last year. The UK-listed company’s main properties for TV distribution include The Walking Dead. On the film side, its titles include La La Land.
