Endemol Shine’s Gaha exiting
Eden Gaha is leaving Endemol Shine North America.
He has been president of unscripted at the company since its formation after the merger of Endemol and Shine. Before the merger he was at Shine.
News of his departure broke last week, with Gaha confirming the news to US trades and alluding to a new venture.
“After 15 years in unscripted television, going from PA to president, it’s time for me to move on to the next challenge,” Gaha said in a statement.
“While it’s difficult to say goodbye to such an incredible team at Endemol Shine, I’m excited by the opportunities that have come my way and look forward to soon sharing details of my new venture.”
The outgoing exec counts the US versions of MasterChef and Hunted among his credits. Before Shine he was at Mark Burnett Productions working on series including The Celebrity Apprentice, which then featured US president Donald Trump.
