Disney, ABC will Find Me in Paris
Two European Disney channels and the ABC in Australia are among the buyers of teen drama Find Me in Paris (fka Paris Opera).
Disney’s French and Italian networks will run the show, along with ABC, France Télévisions and VRT in Belgium.
The show, from Cottonwood Media and Federation Kids & Family, was for ZDF and ZDF Enterprises.
The drama focuses on a young dancer and princess poised to become a ballet star in 1905 who is hurled into the 21st century.
“We are genuinely thrilled with these partnerships, we could not ask for better platforms to reach our intended premium viewership,” said David Michel, president of Cottonwood Media and head of Federation Kids & Family.
“We are also very pleased that the originality of the show’s concept has received such enthusiastic interest – Find Me in Paris has clearly filled a much needed niche in a fun and creative area of the industry.”
