Trio upped in A+E management rejig
A trio of execs have been upped at A+E Networks and Sky’s A+E Networks UK joint venture.
Adrian Pilkington (pictured left), Izabella Wiley (pictured right) and Mark Neil have all landed promotions in the restructure, which comes days after company COO Nicolas Eglau said he was exiting the channels business.
Pilkington has been upped to senior VP, commercial strategy and general manager, covering the Nordic, Benelux, Middle East and Africa regions.
As well as running the aforementioned country operations and overseeing the teams in Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Johannesburg, he will oversee channel distribution and commercial strategy across the business.
Wiley expands her responsibilities from general manager, Poland, adding the wider central and eastern Europe region to her remit. She has been with A+E since 2013 and built its Polish office in Warsaw.
Mark Neil, meanwhile, is upped from vice president of finance, to VP, finance, legal and operations.
He only joined A+E three months ago from Scripps Networks Interactive, where he was CFO.
The promotions mean the three are now all part of the A+E Networks UK leadership team.
They all report to Dean Possenniskie, managing director of A+E Networks EMEA. “I’m delighted to welcome Adrian, Izabella and Mark to A+E Network UK’s leadership team,” he said.
“Each has made an impressive contribution to our business and I look forward to working with them to deliver on our ambitious growth plans for the UK and our international markets.”
A+E Networks UK is currently a JV between US channel operator A+E and UK pay TV operator Sky. It runs channels in the UK, Scandinavia, Benelux, CEE, Africa and the Middle East.
