Endemol Shine France COO named
The soon-to-launch Endemol Shine France will have Delphine Cazaux as its directrice générale.
Cazaux (pictured) is currently COO and head of production at Endemol France, which makes up one of two French prodcos merging to create the new Endemol Shine Group-owned company.
The directrice générale position is similar to what English-language businesses would refer to as COO.
Cazaux will report to Endemol Shine France president Nicolas Copperman, whom she currently reports to at Secret Story prodco Endemol France.
Copperman’s position was announced last year, as TBI broke the news of the merger. Shine France managers Theirry Lachkar and Bouchra Réjani are both exiting.
“I am delighted to confirm Delphine to this crucial role,” said Copperman. “Delphine has been an exceptional colleague over the last four years and those that know her will vouch for the great experience she will bring to the new Endemol Shine France.”
The merger, which brings together the only Endemol and Shine prodcos that haven’t yet come together in their local market, was recently given the regulatory greenlight. The resulting company is expected to begin trading in May.
“Now we have received the go ahead merger plans can push ahead at pace and I look forward to announcing a senior leadership team comprised of talent from both companies later this month,” said Copperman.
Cazaux and Copperman remain in their current positions until the merger is official, but have now also become directrice générale and president of Shine France, respectively.
Endemol merged with Shine to create Endemol Shine in 2015, with Core Media Group involved but remaining independent. 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global Management run the joint venture that houses Endemol Shine and Core.
