The show is produced by Australian indie Wildbear and has been presold by UK funding specialist Drive.
It has also shopped Supernatural Nazis to French DTT net RMC. Sales of the finished series will be handled by Discovery’s programme sales team.
Wildbear is making the show for Discovery’s American Heroes Channel in the US. Discovery has now picked it up for several of its international services and will run it in Lat Am, Japan and Poland.
The three-part series uses drama reconstruction to tell the story of how Hitler and the Nazi party attempted to use supernatural and occult powers to help their war effort.
“We‘re very pleased to have been able to help the producers get this series financed and into production,” said Ben Barrett, joint managing director of Drive.
“The series is packed full of extraordinary revelations that we are sure will resonate with a broad international audience”.
Veronica Fury at Wildbear added: “This series offers a fresh look at how the Nazis were motivated by supernatural and occult factors. Drive were amazing at finding the right homes for this extraordinary story.”
