Love Nature HD preps first Asian launch
Love Nature is set to make its Asian debut later this month by launching in Singapore via operator StarHub TV.
The deal, which was announced today at the Casbaa Convention in Macau, China, will see Love Nature become available in HD to StarHub’s pay TV customers on channel 416.
“The introduction of Love Nature to Singapore is an important milestone for us as we work aggressively to expand the brand’s offerings and stunning natural history content across Asia and all over the world,” said Jo Parkinson, managing director, Love Nature International.
StarHub’s head of content and TV, Lee Soo Hui, said that Love Nature would add to the operator’s “ever-growing line-up of factual channels”.
Love Nature is a joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks and claims to offer “largest library of 4K wildlife and nature content in the world” with 2,000 hours of programming produced each year.
The channel is available in 32 countries worldwide via linear television and online via subscription video-on-demand.
