News brief: Disney’s Lodge opened in US

A Disney Channel EMEA series based on an Israeli teen music-mystery drama has sold to Disney in the US and Canada.
The Lodge, filmed in Northern Ireland, will debut on Disney Channel in the UK on Friday, September 23 at 5.30pm GMT, before debuting on Disney Channel Canada at 8pm ET/PT and in the US on October 17.
The show, based on Disney Channel Israel and Yes Production North Star, will be seen in more than 100 territories by the end of the year.
