ProSiebenSat.1 copros chief exiting
The senior VP of international coproduction and documentaries is exiting the German broadcast group in July.
During his tenure Koby Gal-Raday expanded ProSieben’s international coproduction activities in scripted and factual, greenlighting a number of projects.
He joined the firm in October 2014, and went on to initiate a worldwide open call for scripted series pitches, which resulted in more than 800 submission from 38 territories, some of which are now in development.
“In a very short time we were able to establish close connections with leading production companies, creators and broadcasters across the globe and engage in unique new developments and productions,” said Gal-Raday.
“I thank the management, colleagues and my hugely talented team at ProSiebenSat.1 for this exciting and dynamic joint journey, wish them every success and am certain they will continue to create great television. Now I’m ready to welcome new opportunities.”
“Koby Gal-Raday is a passionate TV professional and an innovative thinker. As a visionary content and business expert with sharp, creative instincts and crisp execution, he has intensified our presence in the international scripted market with remarkable results,” said ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland CEO Wolfgang Link.
Before joining ProSiebenSat.1, Gal-Raday held several posts such as head of drama, comedy documentary and cinema at Israeli broadcaster Reshet, and was co-founder of July-August Productions, which ProSiebenSat.1’s content arm, Red Arrow Entertainment Group, acquired in May 2012.
ProSiebenSat.1 will now look for a replacement hire.
