Peace Point secures Cisneros series for sales

Canada’s Peace Point Right has acquired right to Cisneros Media Distribution’s unscripted programmes in a number of territories.

The deal covers rights to the Venezuelan broadcaster’s catalogue in Canada, UK, France, Monaco, Andorra, French speaking Belgium and Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Baltics, Balkans, CIS, Australia and New Zealand.

Initial titles include 4x30mins ISIS news special End of Days, celebrity entertainment series Talk the Walk, kids educational show Super Genius, and reality shows SHÄK and XRC.

“As Cisneros Media Distribution’s new creative content business unit Mobius.Lab Productions builds up its diverse library of high-quality programming with multi-platform rights, greatly increasing our audience reach in several regions of the world, we are now expanding into markets and countries where our previous library was not relevant to local media outlets,” said Cisneros Media executive VP, content distribution Marcello Coltro.
