Channel 4 ups commissioner
UK broadcaster Channel 4 has upped Sarah Lazenby to commissioning editor, entertainment following an internal rejig at the broadcaster.
Factual entertainment and entertainment are now organised under head of entertainment Liam Humphreys.
Lazenby joined Channel 4 last June from indie producer CPL. In her new role she will work under head of comedy entertainment Ben Caudell and alongside commissioning editor, Entertainment, Syeda Irtizaali.
Her programming credits include Sex Box, Chatty Man and Gordon Ramsay’s F Word.
Ben Caudell, head of comedy entertainment said: “Sarah has proved a fantastic member of the team, so this is a thoroughly well-deserved move. Her enthusiasm, energy and verve are boundless and she really gets behind shows that she loves, both in development and production, so she’s a real asset to indies as well as to the channel.”
