Network Ten GM Lou Barrett exiting
Louise Barrett will leave Network Ten in June having only been promoted to her current role at the broadcaster last September.
Barrett, a former Network Nine exec, is executive general manager, Sydney, for the Australian broadcaster. She was upped last year, having initially joined Ten in 2013 as chief sales officer.
Barrett said she is ‘excited to embark on my next new challenge,’ although details of her next move are not known.
Network Ten CEO, Paul Anderson, said: “Louise has made an enormously valuable and important contribution to our business over the past three years, culminating in the innovative partnership with Multi Channel Network, a partnership that has transformed the way television advertising air-time is sold in Australia.”
Barrett added: “I remain extremely passionate about Ten and the position it has carved out for itself in the market.
“I leave knowing that it is in the best possible position to capitalise on the ratings growth it has enjoyed over the past two years.”
