FremantleMedia Kids & Family adds to UK team
The kids and family division of FremantleMedia is bringing an LA-based exec over to its London base.
Chapman Maddox (left), who executive produces Danger Mouse, will relocate across the pond to join the UK-based FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment (FMK) team, and is promoted from director of development to VP, development and production.
He will remain as EP of animation reboot Danger Mouse, develop new properties and oversee production of existing series.
“We are delighted that Chapman has swapped the sun of LA to join the UK team in central London to take up this exciting new role, which recognises his fantastic work on Danger Mouse and with our existing coproduction partners, and allows him to have a closer working relationship with our key partners in the UK and internationally,” said Bob Higgins, executive VP, creative and production at FMK.
Meanwhile, Kirstie Brockett (right) from Everything’s Rosie prodco V&S Entertainment has joined FMK as brand manager, reporting to global brand director Nicola Herrman.
She will work across preschool series such as Kate & Mim-Mim and Ella the Elephant, plus catalogue titles, including Rainbow and Count Duckula.
