Tricon staffs up for factual, kids
Canada-based Tricon Films & Television has hired three execs for its factual and kids business.
It has brought on Dan Miller (left) as vice president of factual development and Cheyanne Dillenberger (above middle) as director of factual development.
At its Kids & Family division, Tricon has recruited Christine Davis (above right) as director of animation production.
Miller, who has produced unscripted series Build it Bigger and Going Deep with David Rees, was most recently at indie Powderhouse Productions. He will work out of Tricon’s Toronto office.
Dillenberger will be based in LA, and focus on create and selling original character-based and factual content for Tricon. She joins from Discovery Studios, and has also worked at GRB, Raw TV and Lion.
“With the significant growth of our factual business in the US and Canada, Dan Miller and Cheyanne Dillenberger’s expertise and experience give us further advantage in the highly competitive marketplace while adding to the quality of our development projects,” said Jeff Hevert, vice president, US factual development, Tricon Films & Television.
On the kids side, Christine Davis becomes animation chief at Tricon. Her credits include Arthur and Justin Time.
