Former Ovation exec Slava joins DLT
Kris Slava has been appointed senior sales consultant at DLT Entertainment and will help the producer and distributor shop its content into the US.
Based in New York, Slava (pictured) is tasked with driving sales of DLT’s slate of finished shows to cable channels and digital services, and into syndication.
The DLT slate includes comedies My Family and As Time Goes By.
He will report to DLT president Don Taffner Jr., who said: “Kris is a rare breed, having worked as a network executive on the commissioning side, a creative and a sales agent.
“We are delighted that he has joined us as we continue to grow our business in the US and look to new growth opportunities in the international market.”
Slava added: “I am excited to be joining DLT Entertainment which has a strong and respected heritage in producing and distributing world-class content.”
Slava was most recently senior VP of programming and programming at arts and culture cable net Ovation. Prior to that he worked at TV companies including A+E and Bravo.
