MTG exec heads to Turner Nordic

Modern Times Group’s Jeppe Damgaard as been appointed as Turner Broadcasting System Nordic’s director of distribution.

Damgaard will negotiate deals for the Cartoon Network, Boomerang, TCM, CNN International and TNT channels with pay TV providers in the region.

He joins from broadcaster MTG, having spent nearly a decade within the wider Viasat business.

“We are very pleased with the appointment of Jeppe Damgaard, as it will help us with the next step in our growth with a new strategy that puts the consumer at the centre of everything we do,” said Turner Nordic general manager Bo Falk Østergaard.
